"While the property was clean and the location great, there were some disappointments. Among them: 1/2 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom (no extra), between 4 of us we could not get the TV to work even after repeated efforts to reach out to the management company,the hair dryer didn't work, and the hot tub and pool were closed. None of these things were that major but just didn't add up to the experience we were looking for.

Lake Tahoe Vacation at St. Francie Lakeside Daych Family

"We had a great time overall. The house was good to stay in. However, few things we noticed: patio screen door wasn't working, drain in main bathroom was clogged, mattresses in both rooms were quite un-comfortable. Also, we were not able to watch TV as it had a PIN, which I requested but you never got back to me. Lastly, a spa in the complex wasn't working. But again, we really liked the location and access to the beach. NOTE: we stayed at this complex 5 years ago and would like to come back again, in the future.

Great Escape

"We were very satisfied with the was the perfect spot in a great location. The unit was on the ground level which suited us. It was clean and neat. The master bathroom had a tight shower that a large person may not fit into... it was not a problem for us but could be. Appliances are old but work. I would have preferred the cooking utensils placed in a lined draw rather than just thrown into an old wooden draw, it made cooking unappealing. Mostly the beds need upgrading and it would be a much better unit that I would return to.

"The unit was great! It reminded us of our grandparents houses - outdated styling maybe, but it was very comfortable and everything was clean and in good repair. The fridge and dishwasher are newer, and the stove/oven was good enough - more than enough for a reasonably priced getaway, in our opinion. We'd stay here again if we were going to visit this location again.

"The place looked like it was straight out of the 80s. Not that thats a bad thing! Very comfortable and had everything we needed and more! My only request is that the cleaners should vacuum under the bed. Needs a good spring clean. Oh, pleas fix the hot tub

"We were evacuated due to the Dixie Fire and needed a place to escape the smoke. Through a miracle, we were able to book a condo at St. Francis Lakeside at the last minute. The booking staff were all so nice and sympathetic with our situation. We needed to stay 3 additional days and Mike was able to accommodated our request. We were so grateful! The pool and hot tub were wonderful. Great hiking trails and a short walk to Lake Tahoe. The kitchen had everything we needed from cooking herbs and spices to a garlic press! It was wonderful and we will definitely stay here again.

Great stay in Tahoe City

"We had a lovely stay in the condo. It was much bigger than we expected and more than accommodated our group of four. You could sleep 6 extremely comfortably here as shown in the photos. The condo complex is great, and is right on the lake as well we including other amenities. We also enjoyed the ~30 min walk into Tahoe city along the bike/walk path. As others mentioned decor is a little outdated, and beds and couch could probably stand to be replaced, but nothing was enough to really bother us. Property was very clean and management company was exemplary. Quick to respond and accommodating to requests. Would definitely return!

Lake Forest #6 season review

"This season was sadly underwhelming for us given the coronavirus cut it short and prevented our group from enjoying the spring time in Tahoe. Nonetheless we love the condo, and several of us in the group this year are now on 4+ years in the same place. We wi hopefully return again next season.

Tahoe Getaway

"We enjoyed our stay at the St Francis #6 condo. The condo was very clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with plates, utinsels and cooking items. The location was great for our stay in Tahoe City. Not a lot of traffic, and close the lake. We enjoyed sitting on the private dock to view the sunset, the stars and to admire the surroundings. We enjoyed swimming in the lake with the convenience of being close to the condo. The pool was nice with lots of chairs around for those wanting to watch. We enjoyed the deck at the condo as well.

Great little condo community

"I brought my family for a quick weekend trip to Tahoe and we had a wonderful time, lodging was spacious, had a kitchen that provided virtually anything you may need to cook meals and prep lunch for our beach days. Location is on the lake and has quick access to the bike trail leading to Tahoe City. We'll come back again!

"We had a good time at the condo AND we were lucky to get the place with such short notice! There were a few things wrong with the unit, but I was assured they would be addressed soon. The 'shared' hot tub was pretty small.

"The unit's location overlooked the parking lot which was the only negative aspect. It was very comfortable, offered wifi, lots of towels and a well stocked kitchen. The amentities of the complex, pool, tennis, lake, are all great.
